Goetheanum - Dornach, Switzerland

The Goetheanum is the world center for the anthroposophical movement. The building consists entirely of cast concrete and was designed 1923 by Rudolf Steiner, the founder of the anthroposophical movement. Steiner's architecture is characterized by a liberation from traditional architectural constraints, especially through the departure from the right-angle as a basis for the building plan and seeks to create forms that are spiritually expressive.
